Important update of the Aviva Irish Commercial Property Fund: Aviva Life & Pensions Ireland DAC has a responsibility to treat all policyholders fairly and equitably. Due to recent net outflows from the Aviva Irish Commercial Property Fund (and the Aviva Irish Property Fund which invests in the Aviva Irish Commercial Property Fund), we have decided to temporarily suspend redemptions, including surrenders, switches, and early maturities where the request was received by Aviva after close of business (that being 5.30pm) on 31 October 2023. If you reach your normal retirement age or you are currently taking a regular withdrawal during this moratorium you will have access to your retirement benefits and current regular withdrawal (at the existing amount) as normal.

Important Update on UK Property Fund: Apart from one property, all properties in the Aviva UK Property Fund have been sold and customers are now predominantly invested in the Aviva Irish Commercial Property Fund. We have also decided to temporarily suspend redemptions, including surrenders, switches, and early maturities where the request was received by Aviva after close of business (that being 5.30pm) on 08 November 2023. If you reach your normal retirement age or you are currently taking a regular withdrawal during this moratorium you will have access to your retirement benefits and current regular withdrawal (at the existing amount) as normal. During this moratorium we will defer processing redemption instructions from the Funds for up to 6 months, in line with policy conditions.
